This initiative has already resulted in the successful enrollment of 200 Indian students in Austrian universities, demonstrating the effectiveness of the Comprehensive Migration and Mobility Partnership Agreement (CMMPA) signed in 2023. The Focus India initiative aims to create transparent pathways for Indian students, facilitating academic partnerships and cross-border mobility in response to evolving global workforce needs. Austria is particularly attracting students in fields such as sustainability, artificial intelligence, and advanced engineering, reflecting its commitment to integrating education with industry demands. VFS Education Services is instrumental in operationalizing these educational ambitions, supporting the development of the Austria-India education and talent corridor. The collaboration is expected to enhance innovation and workforce readiness, contributing to sustained bilateral cooperation.
