Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) is hosting a series of summer camps for high school students from Duval and Nassau counties, with multiple programs available at no cost. The camps will cover various topics, including artificial intelligence, biotechnology, health careers, and dance, providing students with valuable skills and insights into potential career paths. The AI Summer Bootcamp, running from June 8 to 12, allows students in grades 9-12 to explore AI concepts and applications for a fee of $340. The Camp Genome: NextGen Biotech Camp is a free four-day bootcamp from June 15 to 18, where participants will engage in hands-on biotechnology activities. Additionally, a free Health Careers Exploration Camp will be held in two sessions from June 15 to July 17, introducing students to various health career fields. The Level Up Summer College & Career Readiness Bootcamp for rising juniors and seniors will be offered for $25 in two sessions. Finally, the Shape/Shift Summer Dance Camp will run from July 27 to 31 for dancers aged 16 and older, culminating in a performance on August 1, with a cost of $550. All camps are designed to enhance students' skills and prepare them for future educational and career opportunities.
