This drop is attributed to rising expenses, which increased to ₹1132.40 crore compared to ₹990.59 crore in the same quarter the previous year. Despite this, the company saw total income rise to ₹1157.56 crore, up from ₹1048.46 crore year-on-year. For the entire fiscal year, Heritage Foods recorded a net profit of ₹150.13 crore, marking a 20.26% decrease from ₹188.28 crore in the prior year. Executive Director Brahmani Nara highlighted that FY26 was particularly challenging for the dairy industry, facing severe milk shortages and high procurement costs. Nevertheless, she noted that the company managed to achieve resilient revenue growth amidst these difficulties.
