Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) captain Pat Cummins has confirmed his return to the team for their upcoming match against Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium. The 32-year-old Australian pacer, who missed previous matches due to a back injury, cleared a fitness test and expressed his eagerness to play. Cummins has not participated in any matches since the Ashes series against England and also missed the ICC T20 World Cup 2026. In his absence, SRH found success with debutant bowlers Praful Hinge and Sakib Hussain. Under the leadership of stand-in captain Ishan Kishan, SRH has secured four victories out of seven matches, placing them fourth in the IPL 2026 points table with eight points and a positive net run rate of 0.820. Cummins is expected to replace Dilshan Madhushanka in the lineup, as SRH aims to bolster their pace attack.
