Wilson, a prominent educationist with over two decades of experience in Tamil Nadu's higher education sector, will manage Finance, Pensions, and Planning Development. He has served as Managing Director of Jeppiaar Institute of Technology and has been instrumental in institution-building in the region. Wilson expressed his gratitude for the opportunity and commitment to serving the people of his constituency, RK Nagar.

Additionally, the Tamil Nadu government has established a dedicated Artificial Intelligence department at the cabinet level, with R. Kumar appointed as the Minister for Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, and Digital Services. K.A. Sengottaiyan, a former Finance Minister, has been assigned the Revenue portfolio, which includes responsibilities for disaster management and legislative matters. Chief Minister Vijay retains control over crucial departments such as Home and Police, indicating a strategic approach to governance.
