Daali Dhananjaya, known for his roles in Kannada cinema, made a significant career shift from working at Infosys to pursuing his passion for acting. His latest venture is the web series 'Jerax', which premiered on ZEE5 on April 24, produced under his banner Daali Pictures. Dhananjaya believes that the OTT platform provides a unique creative freedom that traditional cinema often lacks. He expressed excitement for the series, which blends comedy, thriller, and political satire, and praised the writing of young filmmaker Srinidhi. Dhananjaya's journey into acting began on stage, but it was during his corporate job that he realized his true calling. His decision to leave Infosys was driven by his desire for creative independence and the fulfillment he finds in performing. Since his debut in 'Director’s Special' (2013), he has won multiple awards, including three Filmfare Awards South. His role in 'Tagaru' (2018) solidified his reputation, while his character in the 'Pushpa' franchise garnered him recognition among Telugu audiences. As he embarks on this new chapter with 'Jerax', Dhananjaya also shares the personal joy of expecting his first child with his wife, Dr. Dhanyatha Gauraklar.
