As the Assembly elections unfold in West Bengal, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) is rallying support from several regional leaders. Hemant Soren, the Chief Minister of Jharkhand, along with his wife Kalpana Soren, has campaigned in the Jungle Mahal region, addressing multiple rallies. Tejashwi Yadav, leader of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), has also been actively campaigning for TMC candidates through rallies and roadshows. Scheduled visits from Arvind Kejriwal, leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), are expected to bolster TMC's campaign efforts. Additionally, Akhilesh Yadav, leader of the Samajwadi Party (SP), has expressed his support for Banerjee and is likely to visit the state as well. This coalition of regional parties aims to prevent the expansion of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in West Bengal. Meanwhile, the Congress party, a key player in the INDIA bloc, is contesting the elections independently, with its leaders campaigning for their own candidates.
