BitMine Immersion Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ:BMNR) has recently acquired 111,942 Ethereum (ETH), bringing its total holdings to 5.39 million ETH, which is valued at approximately $11.5 billion. This acquisition represents about 4.47% of Ethereum's total circulating supply. The company's total investments in cryptocurrencies, cash, and speculative ventures now exceed $12.3 billion. Chairman Tom Lee described this purchase as part of an aggressive strategy to reach a target of 5% of Ethereum's supply by 2026, viewing the recent price dip below $2,200 as a favorable buying opportunity. Additionally, BitMine has staked 4.71 million ETH, worth over $10.1 billion, and is optimistic about its institutional staking platform, the MAVAN Made in America Validator Network, which could potentially generate around $276 million in annual staking rewards. Lee emphasized that Ethereum's growth is being driven by increasing tokenization activities on Wall Street and a rising demand for neutral public blockchains, particularly from artificial intelligence systems.
