Ranveer Singh's latest film, Dhurandhar 2, directed by Aditya Dhar, has achieved remarkable success at the box office, grossing ₹1748.91 crore (approximately $210 million USD) worldwide. On its 31st day, the film saw a modest uptick, earning ₹4.65 crore on Saturday, up from ₹2.70 crore the previous day. Despite a significant drop from the prior Saturday's earnings of ₹13.50 crore, the film's domestic gross now stands at ₹1329.31 crore (around $160 million USD), surpassing its predecessor's earnings of ₹890 crore to become the highest-grossing Hindi film in India. Internationally, it has edged past Pushpa 2: The Rule to claim the third spot among Indian films globally, trailing only behind Baahubali 2 and Dangal. The franchise has also made history as the first Indian series to exceed ₹3000 crore worldwide, excluding the lucrative Chinese and Gulf markets. Co-produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, the film features a talented cast, including Sanjay Dutt and Arjun Rampal, and delves into the backstory of the spy Jaskirat Singh as he infiltrates a Pakistan terror network.
