Inside, Montreal Mayor Soraya Martinez Ferrada, donning a Victoire jersey, delivered a speech recognizing the team’s groundbreaking achievement and their role in redefining the perception of women in hockey. Coach Kori Cheverie and team captain Marie-Philip Poulin also addressed the audience.
