Managing Director and CEO Hisashi Takeuchi attributed this success to a well-established automobile ecosystem and strong partnerships with employees, vendors, and dealers. The company is also benefiting from favorable policies, including the rollout of GST 2.0, which has bolstered market confidence and demand. Maruti Suzuki plans to expand its production capacity to 4 million units annually, supported by its parent company's strategy to position India as a key export hub. The company operates four plants in Haryana and Gujarat, with a combined capacity of 2.4 million units.
