The University of Liverpool has officially received the Letter of Approval from the Ministry of Education to establish a branch campus in Bengaluru, India. This initiative aligns with the University Grants Commission's 2023 regulations and the National Education Policy 2020's goal to enhance the internationalization of higher education in India. The Bengaluru campus will offer a variety of undergraduate programs, including Business Management, Accounting and Finance, Computer Science, Biomedical Sciences, and Game Design, with most undergraduate courses spanning three years. For postgraduate students, master's programs in Computer Science and Accounting and Finance will be available, each lasting one year. Admissions for the first intake in 2026 are currently open, and applicants must demonstrate English proficiency through recognized qualifications. Students will receive UK-accredited degrees, adhering to the university's academic standards, while scholarships will be offered to eligible candidates. Although the complete fee structure is yet to be released, the campus aims to provide a cost-effective alternative for students seeking a UK education.
