Joe Hennig, a former WWE wrestler who performed under the names Curtis Axel and Michael McGillicutty, was arrested in Anoka County, Minnesota, on May 17 after a drunken drive-thru incident at McDonald's. The 46-year-old, son of the late WWE Hall of Famer Curt 'Mr. Perfect' Hennig, faces five charges, including two for driving under the influence and one for obstructing law enforcement. Reports indicate that Hennig reversed his vehicle into another car while heavily intoxicated. Upon police arrival, he allegedly became aggressive and was found with an open bottle of vodka in his vehicle. Following his refusal to take sobriety tests, he spent two days in jail before being released on May 19. Hennig's career in WWE spanned 13 years, during which he held the Intercontinental Championship and two Raw Tag Team Titles, but he never achieved the same level of fame as his father. After his release from WWE in 2020, he has participated in only one independent match.
