KVN Productions, a prominent production house based in Bengaluru, has officially launched its first Telugu film, tentatively titled 'Mega158', coinciding with veteran actor Chiranjeevi's 70th birthday. The film's mahurat ceremony took place in Hyderabad on May 21, 2023, and was attended by notable guests, including Pawan Kalyan, the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, who performed the ceremonial clapboard to kick off filming. Chiranjeevi shared his appreciation for Kalyan's presence, recalling a similar moment from 30 years ago during the making of his film Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi. The film, directed by Bobby Kolli, is set to be an action-adventure featuring Chiranjeevi alongside Anaswara Rajan. The music will be composed by Thaman, with cinematography handled by Vijay Kartik Kannan. Chiranjeevi has also been actively preparing for the project, sharing a video of his training routine, highlighting his commitment to pushing his limits as he embarks on this new cinematic journey.
