In the latest Uttar Pradesh Board examinations, students from smaller districts showcased exceptional performance, continuing a trend where major cities like Prayagraj were notably absent from the top ranks. In Class X, Aditi from The Modern Academy Inter College in Barabanki achieved second place with 97.5% marks, while three students, including Arpita from Sitapur, shared the third rank with 97.33%. In Class XII, Nandani Gupta from Bareilly and Shriya Verma from Barabanki both secured second place with 97.2%. The UP Board secretary, Bhagwati Singh, attributed these results to the successful implementation of reforms aimed at ensuring a transparent examination process. This included digital attendance tracking, geo-fencing for practical exams, and enhanced security features for answer sheets. These changes reflect a significant evolution in the educational landscape of Uttar Pradesh, where academic excellence is increasingly emerging from smaller districts.
