The production house, Sun Pictures, has strongly urged fans and media to refrain from using, sharing, or reposting the content, emphasizing that their anti-piracy team is actively monitoring the situation. They warned that accounts involved in sharing the clip could face suspension or restrictions. This incident follows another recent leak involving Thalapathy Vijay's film Jana Nayagan, leading to legal actions against those responsible for the breach. The production team expressed shock over the repeated leaks and reiterated their commitment to combat piracy. Jailer 2, which began shooting in Chennai on March 10, is highly anticipated following the success of its predecessor, which grossed around ₹650 crores (approximately $78 million USD).
