Swanand Kirkire is set to compose the music for 'Summer of 77', a political drama series directed by Sudhir Mishra, marking their reunion after previous collaborations like 'Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi' and 'Khoya Khoya Chand'. This eight-part Hindi series is set against the backdrop of India's 1975-77 Emergency, exploring themes of youth, rebellion, and political unrest. The cast includes notable actors such as Rahul Bhat and Isha Talwar. Kirkire has composed a full music album for the series, featuring six songs, and has performed three tracks, including the emotionally resonant song 'Ye Kaisa Hai Junoon'.
