Post Oak Energy Capital, LP, a Houston-based private equity firm, has announced the sale of Switchgrass E&P Holdco, LLC, an oil and gas operator primarily engaged in Oklahoma's SCOOP play. Under Post Oak's partnership, Switchgrass significantly expanded its producing position and developed a robust inventory of future drilling opportunities through strategic acquisitions and efficient operations. Frost Cochran, Managing Director of Post Oak, commended the Switchgrass team for their successful execution of their business strategy. Tom Thurmond, CEO of Switchgrass, expressed appreciation for the confidence and support provided by Post Oak, highlighting the value created during their collaboration.
