Hansal Mehta is preparing to launch the third installment of his acclaimed Scam franchise, titled Scam 2010 – The Subrata Roy Saga. This new series will delve into the life of Subrata Roy, the former chief of Sahara India, and the infamous saga surrounding the company. Siddharth Bodke, a well-known Marathi and Hindi actor, is set to take on the lead role. According to a report from Pinkvilla, the production team has been conducting extensive research over the past few months to accurately portray the complexities of the Sahara saga. The series is based on the book Sahara: The Untold Story by Tamal Bandyopadhyay and will be produced by Applause Entertainment in collaboration with Studio Next. The narrative will explore Roy's rise and the subsequent controversies, including allegations of chit-fund manipulations and his arrest in 2014. With approximately ₹25,000 crore still unclaimed, the impact of the scam lingers on. Filming is expected to commence soon, promising to bring this compelling story to life.
