Goodyear is set to provide the NASCAR Cup Series with a familiar tire setup for the race at Kansas Speedway in April 2026. The right-side tires will be the same as those used during the previous fall's race at the same venue, as well as at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and Darlington Raceway. This marks the third time in 2026 that Cup Series teams will run this tire setup, which Goodyear introduced last fall to allow teams to explore different racing strategies. The NASCAR O'Reilly Series will also employ similar right-side tires, which were introduced in 2025, and will continue to use inner liners on tracks that are 1 mile or longer.
