In an alarming incident at the Kadathanamale toll plaza near Rajanukunte in north Bengaluru, three men traveling in a BMW and a Toyota Fortuner assaulted a toll collector after refusing to pay the toll fee. The attackers, who claimed to be connected to a local Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA), became aggressive when asked to pay. They punched the toll collector, Druva, and kicked him. When another staff member, Deekshith, intervened, he was dragged into the BMW, assaulted, and then thrown out of the vehicle while it was still moving. The entire incident was captured on CCTV, and the Rajanukunte police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Authorities are currently searching for the suspects involved in this violent altercation.
