The Lucknow power department is launching a week-long mega consumer grievance and service campaign from May 15 to May 22. This initiative aims to provide residents with immediate solutions to common electricity issues, such as applying for new connections, correcting faulty bills, and transferring ownership of power connections. Camps will operate daily from 10 am to 5 pm at various substations across the Amausi, Lucknow Central, Jankipuram, and Gomti Nagar zones. The campaign is designed to ease the workload at divisional offices while ensuring that many complaints are resolved on-site. Each zone will host camps at designated locations, with officials tasked to maintain records of complaints received and resolved. Residents are encouraged to bring necessary documents, such as the latest bill receipt and identification, to facilitate the process. The initiative is particularly timely as it prepares for the peak summer season when electricity demand typically surges.
