Subscribers are advised to use only the official EPFO website, www.epfo.gov.in, or the UMANG App for services, as these are free of charge. The EPFO also cautioned against clicking on suspicious links or responding to unsolicited messages, which could lead to financial fraud. Users are encouraged to keep their contact information updated to receive official alerts and to report any suspicious activity through the EPFO grievance portal.
