The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has announced the results for the Sub Inspector recruitment exam, revealing that 12,333 candidates have successfully cleared the written test. This recruitment drive aims to fill 4,543 positions, attracting a staggering 15,75,760 applications, making it one of the largest police recruitment efforts in Uttar Pradesh, India. The written examination was conducted on March 14 and 15, 2026, and candidates who passed will now proceed to the Document Verification (DV) and Physical Standard Test (PST), scheduled to commence in the third week of May 2026. Cutoff marks for various categories have also been released, with male candidates needing between 334.65 and 369.87 marks and female candidates requiring between 306.92 and 360.50 marks to qualify. Following DV and PST, candidates will undergo a medical examination, and a final merit list will be prepared based on the results of these assessments.
