In a shocking revelation, Reggie Kray, the infamous gangster, claimed that Brian Epstein, the manager of The Beatles, was murdered by the Mob rather than succumbing to an accidental overdose, as was initially reported. Epstein was found dead in his Belgravia home in London in 1967, with a pathologist attributing his death to an overdose of a prescribed drug for insomnia. However, in a newly published book by Beatles biographer Philip Norman, an interview with Kray from 1985 suggests otherwise. Kray indicated that Epstein's death might have been a professional hit connected to a failed deal regarding Beatles merchandise distribution in the United States, which left several individuals financially affected. Kray stated, “It’s easy to kill someone and make it look like an overdose.” The Kray twins, who had social ties with Epstein and even considered blackmailing him over compromising photographs, were reportedly looking for ways to expand their influence in the 1960s. The book also hints at Epstein's secret affair with musician Little Richard, adding further intrigue to his complex life.
