The Barr-Reeve Vikings golf team emerged victorious at the Hatchet Invitational held at Country Oaks in Montgomery, Indiana, despite facing harsh weather conditions including cold temperatures, high winds, and horizontal rain. The Vikings shot a team score of 316, outperforming a competitive field that included sectional and potential regional rivals. Sophomore Lincoln Miller led the team as the medalist with an impressive even par 72. Following him were Brady Wagler with 77, Lincoln Wagler with 82, and both Cam and Isaac Knepp contributing scores of 85. Forest Park secured second place with a score of 324, while Lincoln and Bloomington South tied for third with 325. The event featured a total of 20 teams, with Washington finishing last at 469.
