On Sunday morning, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini surprised police recruitment aspirants at the Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Panchkula. His unannounced visit was aimed at ensuring transparency and gathering feedback on the recruitment process, which sees nearly 3,000 candidates participating daily. Local administration and police were caught off guard by his arrival, with officials from the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) also rushing to the scene to engage with the CM. During his visit, Saini interacted with candidates and their parents, inquiring about their experiences and assuring them of a smooth recruitment process. He highlighted the government's commitment to transparency, especially in light of past incidents where six aspirants died during the 2016 recruitment tests due to performance-enhancing drugs. To enhance the experience for candidates, the administration established a dedicated rest area and baggage deposit facility at the stadium entrance. Many candidates expressed satisfaction with the arrangements and appreciated Saini's encouraging presence, with some even taking selfies with him.
