JSS Science and Technology University (JSSSTU) hosted its Open Day 2026 at the SJCE campus in Mysuru, attracting over 20,000 students and parents. This annual event, now in its fourth edition, aimed to connect aspiring students with higher education opportunities in fields such as engineering, science, technology, architecture, management, and computer applications. The program commenced with floral tributes to Jagadguru Shivarathri Rajendra Mahaswami and was inaugurated by C. G. Betsurmath, Executive Secretary of JSS Mahavidyapeetha, with Mysuru's Deputy Director of Pre-University Education, Nagamma M.P., as the guest of honour. Attendees explored various departments showcasing research projects, innovative prototypes, and student achievements, while engaging with faculty members and current students. The event also featured interactive exhibits and technology demonstrations designed to foster innovation and problem-solving skills. Additionally, cultural performances organized by student clubs highlighted the university's commitment to holistic student development. M. N. Nagendra Prasad, Dean of Student Affairs, coordinated the event with support from faculty and student volunteers, making it a significant occasion for the university community.
