Strange Scaffold has announced a sequel to its acclaimed supernatural neo-noir shooter, El Paso, Elsewhere 2, during the recent PC Gaming Show. The game continues the story of James Savage, who embarks on a journey across the United States after being betrayed by a close friend. In this installment, players will navigate through various environments, including nightclubs and eerie suburbs, while utilizing new vampire abilities such as backflipping off enemies and draining blood from foes. The narrative revolves around James's quest to save his betrayer in order to save himself, following the events of the first game where he killed the monster he loved. The studio's head, Xalavier Nelson Jr., noted the challenges faced during the first game's development, expressing disbelief that a sequel could be made. El Paso, Elsewhere 2 is set for release in 2027, alongside a previously announced film adaptation, marking an exciting time for fans of the genre.
