The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the refund process for candidates of the NEET UG 2026 re-examination will commence on May 21, 2026. A dedicated online module will be available on the NTA's official website, allowing candidates to submit their bank account details for refunds. The NTA has assured candidates that no additional fees will be charged for the re-examination, and all candidates who paid the examination fee will receive their refunds. The NEET UG re-exam is scheduled for June 21, 2026, from 2 PM to 5:15 PM, and will be conducted in pen-and-paper format across various locations in India and abroad. The exam will be available in 13 languages, including English, Hindi, and Tamil. Candidates will also receive an extra 15 minutes for document verification and other pre-exam procedures. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has acknowledged past irregularities in the NEET-UG examination and emphasized the ministry's commitment to rectifying these issues, stating that the ministry takes responsibility for ensuring that deserving students are not deprived of their rights.
