The District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) in Jeypore, located in Koraput district, India, has achieved a significant milestone by receiving the LaQshya, MusQan, and National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) certifications. Official sources announced this accomplishment on Wednesday, noting that the LaQshya and MusQan certifications are valid for three years, while the NQAS certification is valid for one year. Following this period, the hospital will be reassessed every six months to ensure ongoing compliance with quality standards. Hospital superintendent Akshay Rath expressed pride in this achievement, attributing it to the dedicated efforts of the doctors, patients, and healthcare staff. He assured that any shortcomings identified during the assessment will be prioritized for improvement. Receiving all three certifications in a single year is considered a rare accomplishment, making it a point of pride for both the hospital and the district. A three-member assessment team from Delhi, Kanpur, and Telangana conducted the evaluation in March.
