Maruti Suzuki India Limited has set a remarkable record by producing 2.34 million units in the fiscal year 2025-26, making it the only facility within Suzuki Motor Corporation to achieve such a production level. The company's top models during this period included the Dzire, Fronx, Swift, Ertiga, and Baleno, each surpassing 200,000 units. Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director and CEO, expressed pride in this achievement, highlighting the company's dedication to evolving customer needs and building a robust automobile ecosystem over the past 45 years. Looking ahead, Maruti Suzuki aims to increase its production capacity to 4 million units annually, supported by its parent company's confidence in India's growth. The company is also planning a new manufacturing facility in Khoraj Industrial Estate, Gujarat, which is expected to add 1 million units to its annual capacity once operational. Currently, Maruti Suzuki operates facilities in Gurugram, Manesar, Kharkhoda, and Hansalpur, with an existing capacity of 2.4 million units per year.
