Karnataka Chief Minister DK Shivakumar announced the establishment of special Anti-Rowdy Squads across the state to combat rowdyism and enhance public safety. The squads will operate at both circle and police station levels, aiming to monitor and act against threats such as extortion, gang activity, and violence. Shivakumar emphasized the need for a secure environment for all citizens, stating that every individual deserves to feel safe. This initiative is part of a broader commitment to law and order in Karnataka. In addition to public safety measures, the government is also focusing on employment initiatives, including filling 56,000 vacant positions and providing free bus passes for students. A new 'Youth Employment Bridge' system will be introduced to equip young people with necessary skills, alongside the formation of 10,000 'Bharat Jodo Youth Associations' with financial support. These actions reflect the government's dedication to fostering a safe and prosperous environment for all residents.
