Key discussions focused on enhancing oversight and monitoring mechanisms within banks to improve recovery rates, prioritizing high-value cases, and utilizing Lok Adalats as an effective alternative dispute resolution method. Additionally, the ministry highlighted the importance of procedural reforms and comprehensive capacity-building initiatives to expedite case disposal. As a result of these efforts, DRTs have seen a notable increase in monthly disposal rates, reflecting the positive impact of targeted training programs and infrastructure improvements.
