The creators of the acclaimed 'Drishyam' series, Abhishek Pathak and Kumar Mangat Pathak, have confirmed that the third installment will feature distinct storylines for its Hindi and Malayalam versions. The Malayalam version will be characterized as an emotional family drama, while the Hindi adaptation will take a more suspenseful, drama-thriller approach. Abhishek Pathak, who is also directing the Hindi version, emphasized that the scripts were developed separately to cater to the expectations of their respective audiences. The film is set to hit theaters on October 2, 2023. Notably, Jaideep Ahlawat has been cast in a new role, replacing Akshaye Khanna, which is expected to introduce fresh dynamics between characters. The father-son duo, Abhishek and Kumar Mangat Pathak, are also expanding their production efforts, planning to release six Malayalam films this year, showcasing various genres.
