Ankit Sethi, a flat owner, reported that a short circuit due to faulty electrical fittings caused the fire, which endangered his family, including a pregnant maid and small children. Residents demanded immediate compensation and replacement flats, citing the ineffectiveness of the installed firefighting equipment. They also called for a thorough investigation into fire safety and electrical audits of the entire complex. Despite attempts to contact the builder, no response was received.
