However, international travel has softened, particularly for European destinations, as Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged citizens to avoid non-essential overseas trips. Travelers are increasingly favoring short-haul destinations, with Vietnam experiencing a 130% growth in interest. Meanwhile, bus bookings to cooler hill stations have risen by 38% year-on-year, indicating a clear preference for domestic getaways over international options amid rising costs.
