On Monday, a tragic bus accident in Udhampur district, Jammu and Kashmir, claimed the lives of 21 people and injured more than 50 others. The bus, which was overloaded with 63 passengers on a route from Ramnagar to Udhampur, plunged nearly 100 feet down a hillside, crushing an autorickshaw before landing upside down on the road. The driver, Rohit Kumar, was arrested on Tuesday after he had been on the run since the incident.
