The Moolapeta Government High School in Nellore has been completely renovated with an investment of ₹20 crore, transforming it into a facility that rivals private academies. This project was executed through a public-private partnership with DSR Constructions, following a proposal from the municipal administration last August. The revamped school now boasts a 24,000-square-foot campus on 2.5 acres of land, featuring 14 high-tech classrooms and dedicated laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Computer Science. Notably, it houses what is claimed to be the most advanced school-level robotics laboratory in Andhra Pradesh. Additionally, the school has a new sports complex designed by consultants from Bengaluru, which includes a synthetic kabaddi court, cricket practice nets, a half-basketball court, and two badminton courts. Municipal administration and urban development minister Narayana, along with city mayor Devarakonda Sujata Ashok, inspected the newly completed campus ahead of its formal opening, highlighting the significant investment in public education infrastructure in the region.
