Chief Justice Lisa Gill of the High Court of Andhra Pradesh inaugurated a new court complex in Rajamahendravaram, located in the East Godavari district. This complex, built at a cost of ₹38 crore (approximately $4.6 million USD), houses 10 courts, including eight civil courts, a family court, and a special court for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. The complex is equipped with a mediation center, a counseling center, and facilities designed for differently-abled individuals. Justice Gill emphasized that the court complex symbolizes the community's sentiments and the institution's commitment to justice. She also highlighted the importance of adopting technology in the judicial system, urging that while technology like Artificial Intelligence is appealing, it should be harnessed wisely for the benefit of the legal system. Other notable attendees included High Court judges and local bar association representatives.
