ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company announced its financial results for the fourth quarter and full fiscal year 2026, reporting a 7.3% year-on-year increase in standalone net profit to ₹547 crore for Q4 FY26, up from ₹510 crore in Q4 FY25. The growth was primarily driven by strong demand for retail health insurance products, which saw a 55.65% increase in premiums to ₹594.47 crore. Sequentially, net profit rose by 15.6% from ₹466 crore in the previous quarter. For the entire fiscal year, profit after tax grew by 10.5% to ₹2,772 crore, compared to ₹2,508 crore in FY25. The company also reported a 7.0% increase in Gross Direct Premium Income, totaling ₹28,712 crore. Alongside the results, ICICI Lombard announced a proposed final dividend of ₹7 per share, subject to shareholder approval, bringing the total dividend for FY26 to ₹13.50 per share, up from ₹12.50 in FY25. The combined ratio, a key profitability metric, improved to 101.2%, indicating enhanced efficiency in managing claims and expenses relative to premiums collected.
