HG Gauranga Das Prabhu, a prominent figure in the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), has lauded the newly released film 'Krishnavataram Part 1: The Heart (Hridayam)' as essential viewing for families. He urged parents to take their children to see the film, which he believes provides a much-needed counterbalance to the negative content prevalent in today's online space. Gauranga Das expressed appreciation for the filmmakers' efforts to depict the divine teachings of Lord Shri Krishna through cinema, stating, “It is essential to bring such spiritual, transcendental, philosophical, and life lessons-filled content to people, especially to the younger generation.” He highlighted the film's portrayal of Krishna's pastimes, particularly the challenges faced by the deity, and noted that the film draws inspiration from scriptures, including the Shrimat Bhagwat Grant. Directed by Hardik Gajjar, 'Krishnavataram' is the first part of a planned trilogy and is currently screening in cinemas.
