Suriya is currently working on his film Suriya47, directed by Jithu Madhavan, with completion expected by June 2026. Actor Naslen, who plays a significant role, has stated that there is no connection between Suriya47 and Fahadh Faasil’s Aavesham. He emphasized that the film will not be set in Bengaluru, unlike Madhavan's previous works. Suriya47 is described as an action-comedy featuring Suriya as an eccentric police officer, whose life takes a turn with a new mission alongside his quirky team. The film also stars Nazriya Nazim Fahadh as the female lead. In addition to Suriya47, Suriya will appear in Vishwanath And Sons, set to release on August 14, 2026. Meanwhile, Naslen will lead Mollywood Times, a comedy-drama about a young man's aspirations in horror filmmaking, scheduled for release on June 5, 2026.
