A recent ground check revealed that these vehicles were operating freely, undermining the intended purpose of the ban, which is to maintain uninterrupted traffic flow and reduce accidents. Despite the Lucknow Police's efforts to enforce restrictions, including advisories prohibiting slow-moving vehicles from the main carriageway and service lanes, the reality reflects a different scenario. Drivers openly admit to ignoring the ban, citing convenience and passenger preference as reasons for their actions.
