A new case of answer sheet mismatch has emerged involving a Class 12 Chemistry paper from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), following a similar incident with a Physics exam. Sanjana, the affected student, reported that the scanned copy of her Chemistry answer sheet did not match her handwriting or the answers she provided during the exam. Despite expecting a higher score, she received only 11 out of 70 marks and subsequently sought revaluation. In her online post, she shared that while the first page of the answer booklet appeared to be hers, the internal pages contained different handwriting. After contacting CBSE, she received confirmation that her concerns were valid and that the actual marksheet had been located. This incident has raised alarms among students and parents regarding the accuracy of the scanning and evaluation processes. With two such cases now public, discussions are growing around the need for improved transparency and safeguards in the board's re-evaluation mechanisms.
