DCM Shriram has finalized an agreement to sell a 50% equity stake in its subsidiary, Shriram Polytech (SPL), to Teknor Apex B.V. for $5.6 million. This transaction marks a strategic shift for DCM Shriram, as SPL transitions from being a wholly-owned subsidiary to a joint venture. As of March 31, 2025, SPL recorded a turnover of ₹201.63 crore and a net worth of ₹78.36 crore. The partnership aims to leverage Shriram Polytech's expertise in vinyl compounds alongside Teknor Apex's global formulation capabilities, focusing on delivering sustainable specialty polymer solutions for various industrial applications. Despite this positive development, DCM Shriram reported a 19.09% decline in consolidated net profit to ₹212.11 crore for Q3 FY26, even as revenue increased by 13.01% to ₹3,785.63 crore compared to the same quarter last year. Following the announcement, the company's stock rose by 0.59%, closing at ₹1179.80 on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
