In Pune, Khadak police arrested 26-year-old Rohan Salve for assaulting police personnel during an incident that occurred around 2:20 AM on Friday. Salve, a resident of Meenatai Thackeray Vasahat in Gultekdi, was initially detained after causing a disturbance at an eatery on Tilak Road while inebriated. Following the disturbance, the eatery owner contacted the police, leading to Salve's detention. Upon arrival at the police station, he reportedly pushed and verbally abused the officers present. Senior inspector Shashikant Chavan confirmed the arrest, stating that Salve was subsequently produced before a city court, which remanded him in police custody until Sunday.
