Six Flags Fiesta Texas has unveiled Werewolf Gorge, a groundbreaking family launch roller coaster set to debut in 2027, coinciding with the park's 35th anniversary. This unique ride will be the world's longest family launch coaster, measuring 4,120 feet and featuring four launches that propel riders to speeds of 45 mph. With a height requirement of just 39 inches, it aims to provide thrilling experiences for families. Riders will encounter 32 airtime moments, a 40-foot drop, and immersive storytelling elements inspired by a werewolf curse in a Texas quarry. The attraction's design incorporates a mid-course rollback and a fully realized environment, enhancing the overall experience. The park manager, Robert Bustle, emphasized that Werewolf Gorge represents a significant addition to the park, blending innovation with family-friendly thrills. The ride's theme will be supported by interactive exhibits and themed queue spaces, enriching the narrative experience. The official announcement took place under a blue full moon, aligning with the supernatural theme of the ride.
