HCLTech, a leading technology services provider, reported a net profit of ₹4,488 crore for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2025-26, reflecting a 4.2% increase from ₹4,307 crore in the same period last year. Revenue for the quarter rose by 12.34%, totaling ₹33,981 crore, although it saw a slight sequential growth of 0.32%. The company also announced an interim dividend of ₹24 per share, marking its 93rd consecutive quarter of dividend payouts. CEO C Vijayakumar expressed concerns over an uncertain demand environment, citing reduced discretionary spending and delayed decision-making as factors that impacted performance. Despite these challenges, he highlighted the growing traction of HCLTech's new AI-led service offerings, which have contributed to annualized revenues surpassing $620 million in Q4. Looking ahead, the company's primary focus for FY27 will be to strategically position itself to capitalize on AI opportunities for long-term value creation.
