The registration for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2026 ends today, May 3, 2026. The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission initiated the registration process on March 27, 2026, following a notification issued on March 20, 2026. Candidates can apply through the official websites, upessc.up.gov.in and uptet.upessc.org/otr/info/. The UPTET exam is scheduled for July 2-4, 2026, and will be conducted in offline mode across various centers in Uttar Pradesh. Eligibility criteria require primary level candidates to have completed 10+2 with at least 50% marks and a D.El.Ed or equivalent qualification. For upper primary positions, candidates must hold a degree along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed. The application fee is ₹1000 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates, ₹500 for SC and ST candidates, and ₹300 for Persons with Disabilities. Admit cards will be available on June 30, 2026.
